Good question, chances are that it’s an animal we haven’t even discovered yet because the twilight zone is pretty hard to study (just because of how big and how remote it is). Most deep-sea scientists consider the deep-sea to begin around 1000m (beyond the reach of all sunlight) but the twilight zone is 200-1000m

Most of the animals in these areas are usually pretty small (like less than 30cm in length) because there’s not a whole lot of food. In some areas you can get bigger fish and the size of the animals depends upon how productive the overlying surface ocean is.

My best bet for the deadliest animal though has got to be the giant squid, it is pretty big (up to 13m long which is rare in the twilight zone). It lives between around 400 to 900m depth, most commonly found in the west pacific, near Japan and hunts for fish with its enormous eyes (which it needs in the eternal gloom of the twilight zone)
