When I was in high school I worked at a zoo where we had both tigers and polar bears. Both are quite dangerous to humans– even the keepers didn’t go in with them.

The most dangerous animal I’ve met in the wild was a giant centipede. When I worked in the Caribbean I was walking outside and one scampered across my foot. They have a very toxic bite, so I’m happy that one ignored me and went on its way.

The most dangerous animals I met were underwater while I was SCUBA diving. I’ve come across barracudas, moray eels, and huge jellyfish!

Oh, I also saw a brown bear once while I was hiking through a forest but it was almost 50 meters away.

I saw a stonefish in the Red Sea once – they are very venomous!

The most dangerous deep-sea species I’ve met are giant king crabs that were kept in an aquarium where I used to work. In the deep-sea they can grow to couple of metres across!
