      Quiet and peaceful, or at least it is where I’ve been scuba diving.

      You can’t see as far (particularly if the water is muddy). In the Red Sea you can maybe see up to about 40-50m before the light fades, but in the UK you’re lucky if you can see 10m!

      Being weightless is a strange feeling too and it can sometimes be a bit scary looking up at the surface when diving and seeing how far away it is!

      In the deep sea however, it is very dark (in most places completely black) and very still. Currents aren’t very strong in the deep and it’s probably a bit like being in space I guess – but people can’t dive that deep without special submersibles
